A rider who does not finish the race. Several codes, depending on the reason.
DNF (did not finish): abandoned during a stage, often after a crash, illness or simply giving up. DNS (did not start): did not take that day's start. OTL ("outside time limit"): finished too slowly and is eliminated by the rules.
On FlashPeloton, abandons are shown at the bottom of the classification on time, with the stage on which the rider left the race.
